Theory Test

If you want to drive a car you need to pass the theory test before you sit your practical driving test.

The test consists of 2 parts:

  • the multiple choice part
  • the hazard perception part

You take both parts at the same time and must pass both parts to pass the theory test.

Practice your theory test on the DVLA Website.
